How can Mycare Bridge benefit me?
Mycare Bridge offers personalised Home Care Package support delivered by an experienced and caring team.
We respond quickly to your individual needs, provide a free in-home consultation, and guide you through the best options for your situation.
From the moment you contact us, you’ll speak with someone who understands your circumstances and helps connect you with the right support.
Can I switch from my current provider to Mycare Bridge?
Of course! Get in touch with our team today and they’ll talk you through the process, and how we can work with you to maximise your package.
What if I don’t have funding yet?
That’s okay, we can still help. Our team can guide you through the process of applying for a Home Care Package, and we also offer privately paid services to support you while you wait for approval.
Who is eligible for the Support at Home Program?
The Support at Home Program is designed for older people who wish to remain living independently in their own homes. You may be eligible if you are 65 or over, or 50 or over if you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person, and need help with daily activities such as cleaning, personal care, transport, or meal preparation. Eligibility is determined through an assessment arranged by My Aged Care, which helps identify the level of support that best suits your needs.
What should I expect during a Support at Home assessment?
During your assessment, an assessor will visit you at home to learn more about your health, lifestyle, and the kind of help you may need with everyday activities. This conversation helps determine which services will best support your independence and wellbeing. The assessor may also discuss local service providers and can send referrals to your preferred provider. They will explain any potential costs and share information on where to find further guidance. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions or raise any personal or cultural considerations, and you’re welcome to have a family member or friend present for support.
